Vintage Wooden Knife Can Opener Nesting Stainless Steel Japan
2 Sides nest together for safe storage and transport. Pulls apart and you have a handled knife and a handled can opener. There is wear on the wooden case as seen in the photos as well as a sharp metal piece that is sticking through the wood (see images). Described as a fishing instrument in some online descriptions.
