Vintage West Germany 4 Strand Glass Bead Necklace Amber AB Gray 15”
Striking vintage West Germany four-strand glass bead necklace measuring approximately 15 inches. This richly layered statement piece features an autumn-toned mix of translucent amber glass beads, textured honey-gold glass, silvery gray faux pearls, and faceted aurora borealis glass beads that flash with pink, blue, green and gold tones.
The necklace is finished with an ornate beaded box-style clasp, creating a decorative focal point even at the back of the neck. The mix of bead shapes, finishes and textures gives the necklace a dramatic mid-century look with lots of depth and movement.
Marked West Germany, dating the piece to the postwar vintage period prior to German reunification in 1990. Vintage preowned condition with visible age-related wear to some of the silvery bead coatings and patina to the metal findings, consistent with age and use.
