Vintage Wax Ornament Cast From Antique German Mold | Mary’s Annunciation c1700

2"x4.5". Listing is for a vintage ornament of an 11th century image of Mary being told by archangel Gabriel that she would conceive Christ. Ornament was cast in quality melt resistant bees wax and hand painted by artist Clare Brackett Morison in the 70-80’s.. Has small rope loop for hanging. Ornament was cast from a genuine German antique gingerbread mold, this mold in particular from c. 1700 (image from 11th century). Please see photos for description about particular design & history of the mold! In great condition. Paint is still bright & colorful. Comes with box for storage and little info pamphlet.
