Vintage Wax Ornament Cast From Antique German Mold | Cradle in Heart 1825

2.5"x3". Listing is for a vintage ornament, a folk style heart with a baby cradle in the center. Ornament was cast in quality melt resistant bees wax and hand painted by artist Clare Brackett Morison in the 70s. Signed by artist on backside. Has small rope loop for hanging. Ornament was cast from a genuine German antique gingerbread mold, this mold in particular from c. 1825. This design was used for a birth announcement or christening cookie. Please see photos for description about particular design & history of the mold! In great condition. Paint is still bright & colorful. Comes with box for storage and little info pamphlet.
