Vintage Wax Ornament Cast From Antique German Mold | Madonna & Child 1825 AS IS

3.25"x3". Listing is for a vintage ornament of a medallion shape featuring a madonna & child image. Ornament was cast in quality melt resistant bees wax and hand painted by artist Clare Brackett Morison. Has small rope loop for hanging. Ornament was cast from a genuine German antique gingerbread mold, this mold in particular from c. 1825. Please see photos for description about particular design & history of the mold! Paint is still bright & colorful. Comes with box for storage and little info pamphlet. *NOTE* has a small chip on edge of medallion.
