FUN FACT: Joye Hinton was an accomplished and popular twentieth-century American china painter. She operated an art studio known as The Southern Lady and specialized in teaching porcelain painting as well as creating delicately detailed floral and romantic rose designs on fine blank porcelain wares. The absence of a manufacturer’s stamp or hallmark on the bottom is incredibly common for pieces of this era and style due to how they were distributed and decorated
