Vintage Tecolote Tiles Cat Wooden Box Hand Painted New Mexico
Charming vintage wooden keepsake/storage box featuring a two-tile cat design from Tecolote Tiles & Gallery of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The lid features two hand-painted ceramic tiles that form one continuous scene of two cats surrounded by colorful foliage. The tiles are set into a substantial wooden box with a fully removable, snug-fitting lid — there are no hinges.
Original Tecolote Tiles & Gallery label remains on the underside and reads “Design Tiles – Handpainted in New Mexico,” Albuquerque, NM.
One tile also bears a small unidentified marking/signature within the design.
