• Isabel Bloom (1908–2001) was an Iowa artist best known for her whimsical, affordable concrete sculptures of children, animals, and families

• Studying under Grant Wood at the Stone City Art Colony, she pioneered techniques using wet cement to create durable, Midwestern-style garden and home art that democratized sculpture
