The "Organic" paperweight collection was designed by Helen MacDonald, one of the most prominent abstract glass artists for Caithness Glass.
Active as a core designer for the studio during its peak output eras, MacDonald was famous for creating fluid, expressive shapes that utilized heavily faceted layers and internal air bubbles to mimic elements of nature. She spearheaded several variations of the "Organic" series starting in the late 1990s through the early 2000s, including versions in red, ochre, heather, and your specific forest/lime green combination.
