Vintage Murano, Barbini Cased Teal Glass Quilted Bowl With Gold Flake Controlled Bubble

This is an amazing and rare, OOAK, circa 1950s, Quilted Bowl made by Alfredo #Barbini. It is an authentic Murano Glass, Cased Teal Blue/Aqua Blue, with lots of REAL Gold Flake and done with the 'Bullicante' Controlled Bubble, style. It has folded rims on 2 sides. Some had 2, some had 3, some had 1...each was made to be unique and no 2 are alike. * It measures: 5.25" Long x 4" Wide x 2.5" High It is in great condition! Please see all pics, as they are part of the description. ~ Info on, Alfredo Barbini: Alfredo Barbini began learning the art of glass making in 1912, at the tender age of ten, at Abate Zanetti, a design school that was attached to the Murano Glass museum. He then went on to work for many of the 'Murano Glass Masters', Ferro Toso, Cristalleria Murano, Zecchin-Martinuzzi and Seguso Vetri'dArte. In 1946 he became a partner at Cenedese, and then he began his own glass factory, Barbini Glassworks, in 1950. Alfredo Barbini has become renowned for his thick and heavy sculptural forms, which have won him many awards.
