Vintage Miyashita Hajime Osanago Sosaku Kokeshi Dolls Set of 4 Japan A1196

Charming set of four vintage Japanese Sōsaku Kokeshi dolls by noted artist Miyashita Hajime. These beautifully lathe-turned solid wood figures feature his distinctive minimalist child faces, delicate painted hair, tiny red lips, and carved horizontal rings around the bases. Their rounded forms showcase the natural grain and warm patina of the wood.

The design is known as “Osanago,” meaning young child, and dates to the mid-century Showa period.

Size: Approx. 1 3/4" x 1 3/4", 2 1/2" x 2 1/2", 2 1/4" x 2 1/4", and 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no dents or significant scratches.
