Vintage Limoges France Peint Main Two Pears on Plate Porcelain Trinket Box A1195

Charming authentic French Limoges porcelain hinged trinket box featuring a whole pear and sliced pear resting on a floral-decorated plate. Hand-painted in rich yellow, green, blue and brown tones, with ornate metal mounts and a whimsical spoon-form clasp. The interior is decorated with a small hand-painted flower. The underside is hand marked “Limoges France / Peint Main,” confirming hand-painted Limoges manufacture. “Peint Main” means hand painted.

I found the same Two Pears on Plate design marketed as a Limoges French Porcelain Box, with an MSRP of $175.
