Widowed mom with one daughter and five cats. Plus a grandma to six fur babies. I also foster kittens for our local SPCA but in my spare time I love collecting anything vintage but especially glass and pottery. Thifting is my passion. For me it's like playing a game of hide and seek. The treasures are hiding and I seek them out. There is no greater thrill than finding the one special "thing" that was hiding in plain sight.

Vintage Indiana Glass Clear Hen On Nest Covered Dish 5” X 6 1/4”
Produced mainly in the early 20th century these decorative covered dishes were used for candy, nuts, butter or trinkets. Very detailed pressed glass construction with the chicken lid fitting on top of a nest shaped bowl. This particular one has a hand painted comb and wattle. No condition issues other than needing a good scrub.
