Vintage Hard to Find Wedgwood (England) Napoleon Ivy Green Cranberry Bowl, 4.7"
This vintage Wedgwood Cranberry Bowl in the desirable "Napoleon Ivy Green" pattern is a hard-to-find piece. A cranberry bowl was originally intended to serve cranberry sauce or relish for the table. Today, it is also used to serve other condiments (such as salsas), dips, or nuts. It is a bit bigger than the size of a standard cereal bowl at 4.7" wide and 2.4" high. Wedgwood made this line from Queen's Ware, a fine creamware earthenware ceramic, and discontinued the pattern in 2003. Based on the backstamp, this particular bowl was made in March of 1970. The code is: 3: This number represents the month of production, which is March (the 3rd month). 0: This is the potter or factory inspector mark used during that tracking period. N: This letter serves as the year code for the year 1970 in this specific Wedgwood dating sequence.
The bowl is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
If you purchase more than one item, I am happy to combine shipping to save postage cost.
