Vintage Handmade Red Clay Glazed Serving Dish/Lid, Blue Flowers, The Pottery, Dalton, PA

This unique round serving dish is a vintage piece from The Pottery in Dalton, Pennsylvania. It is made of red clay and features a beautiful blue flower pattern on a white glaze background, contrasting with the red clay inner ring and bottom. The dish has a lid with an attached loop handle, and measures 8 inches in length, 8.5 inches in width, and 3.5 inches in depth. This casserole is a handmade art pottery piece from the 1980s and has an impressed backstamp. The dish weighs 5 pounds, 3 ounces and is perfect for serving your favorite meals. The serving dish and lid are in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear (other than the bottom). There is a slight bit of crazing due to age (see close up picture).
