Vintage Hand Blown Art Glass Scavo Vase By Paolo Rossi, 1970s Italy, Venezia. A STUNNER!!
Approx 9”tall x7” across, no chips or cracks. Light wear due to age, this finish gives an aged look and lines that appear to be cracks but are not. It’s all part of the style and finish. Master glassmaker, Paolo Rossi, featuring a "scavo" (excavation) finish that gives it an aged, textured appearance. The vase has a distinctive pink hue with an iridescent finish and features two clear, applied handles and a flared rim. The design is vintage, likely from the 1970s or 1980s, and reflects the traditional craftsmanship of Venice, Italy.
