Vintage Folk Art Carved Wood Mechanical Parrot Wall Hook - Flapping Wings Action This vintage mechanical wall hook is a unique example of hand-carved folk art automata. Stamped India. Based on its construction and mechanism, it likely dates from the mid-20th century (1950s–1970s) Measures: 12” x 4.25” x 2.75”: Extended 13” x 12.5” x 2.75”. NOTE: Surface scratches and staining on the wood due to age and usage. The screws and metal bar in bar are coming loose, but are not yet effecting the movement of the wings or hook.
