Vintage Arabia Porcelain Wall Plaque.
This is a Heljä Liukko-Sundström Kodin ilo wall plate, made of hand-painted porcelain for the Finnish ceramics company Arabia. The plate is an oval, decorative ceramic piece intended for wall hanging. It was designed by the acclaimed Finnish artist and professor Heljä Liukko-Sundström. The approximate dimensions of the plate are 32 cm (about 12.5 inches) high and 13.5 cm (about 5 inches) wide. The piece dates back to at least the late 1980s or early 1990s. Excellent condition.
