Vintage Anchor Hocking Milk Glass Pedestal Vase, Embossed Ivy Vines, 9.5”, MINT

This vintage Anchor Hocking Milk Glass Pedestal Vase stands at 9.5 inches tall, showcasing an iconic Ivy Vines pattern in a glossy white finish. Made in the United States during the Mid 20th Century, the vase has the tell-tale sign of age with the "ring of fire" when held to the light - see last picture. (The "ring of fire" refers to a halo of iridescent colors—usually red, orange, gold, or subtle blues—that appears along the edges of vintage milk glass when it is held up to natural sunlight or bright artificial light due to the inclusion of iridized salts in the glass.) This is a substantial vase, weighing just under 2 pounds. It is an elegant shape, with a clean pedestal base and a flared rim. The vase is in excellent condition.
