Vintage (40s) Heisey Glass Mint Dish, Dolphin 3-Toed, 'Orchid' Etched, #1509-58, 5.75"

Exquisitely crafted, this vintage Heisey Glass candy dish is a true embodiment of mid-century modern elegance. With its delightful 'Orchid' etched pattern, this piece showcases a timeless aesthetic that is both intricate and sophisticated. The dish, featuring a glossy finish and measuring 5.75 inches in diameter with a depth of 1.75 inches, is a testament to the artistry of hand-blown glass production techniques. Made in Ohio during the 1940s, this elegant glass dish is designed with a round shape and three dolphin feet to elevate its presentation. It's an original piece from the 'Orchid' product line, produced from 1950-1957, bearing the model number 1509-58, and is adorned with etched orchids, ribbons, and florals. This dish is a collector's delight, blending both history and beauty. The dish is in excellent (MINT) condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear. As with most pieces of blown glass, there is a strand of tiny trapped bubbles inside the glass (see last picture). This is not a scratch - you can't feel anything on either side of the glass.
