Vintage 1970s Wood Trinket/Jewelry Box Hand Carved Polish Folk Art 4.75” W x 1.75” T

Vintage mid-century Polish folk art trinket/keepsake box, traditionally hand-carved by Goral artisans from the Tatra Mountain region in southern Poland. Crafted from soft linden wood, this square piece features an intricate geometric rosette motif on the lid alongside detailed pyrography (wood-burned) borders wrapped completely around the side panels.

Fascinating Provenance & History: What makes this specific piece a true collector's item is the preservation on the bottom base. It still retains its original, vintage "Made in Poland" export/inventory label (No. 611.30) paired with an original retail sticker from "Piccadilly Circle - Gifts," an upscale specialty boutique that operated out of the historic Yorktown Center mall in Lombard, Illinois during the 1970s and 1980s.

Condition: There is one very minor, tiny compression ding pushed inward along the top rim edge see last two pictures.
