Vintage 1950’s Max Factor Mother of Pearl Lipstick Case Compact Dazzling Coral

1950’s glamour at its best in this wonderful lipstick case purse compact. Push the button and the hinged mother of pearl lid pops open. It has a spring loaded sheet of metal that pops up and presents your tube of lipstick to you. The original (used) lipstick -- "Danzling Coral" from Max Factor High Society -- is still inside. Hallmarked "Max Factor Hollywood • London • Paris USA Patent NO 2,830.602 Container made in England". Lipstick is marked "Container Made in USA." Compact measures 2 1/4" x 1 1/8" x 3/4" high. There is some wear to the gold tone exterior. Lipstick is used only a remnant of the bright coral color remains inside. Mother of pearl inlay is in great condition and this is just a treasure to behold.
