Hinges are very intact, Brass hardware. Wood carved or burned design-Is primitive and gorgeous. Blue felt on inside of lid and inside box of itself. Inscribed, "Made by Donald Stanchfield, Dec. 27. 1907. For Sarah". O my heart!! Measures approx 4.5" L, 3.5" Deep, 2.75" H, 3.7 Oz.
