Set of 8 - Vtg. Avon 1876 Cape Cod Ruby Red Glass Pedestal Mugs, 5”, Boxed

This set of 8 vintage Avon 1876 Cape Cod Ruby Red Pedestal Mugs comes with the original boxes from 1982. Each mug stands at 5 inches tall and features an embossed 19th-century Roman Rose design. Avon commissioned the Wheaton Glass Company to manufacture this collection for them, running from 1975-1992. Each mug would work well for tea, coffee or hot chocolate. The embossed design, particularly rimming the handle, creates a good grip. The tightly-scalloped edges along the pedestal base are a nice design element. Each mug weighs @12 ounces.

Each mug is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear. The boxes each hold 2 mugs; each box shows wear.

I have multiple pieces of the Avon 1876 Cape Cod design, including serving pieces. Please see my listings at 2cuddlebugs24. I am happy to combine shipping and to pass the postage savings along to you!
