RARE OOAK ANTIQUE 'Chapter AQ of the P.E.O. Sisterhood' MAGNUM CRACKLE & CLEAR CONTROLLED BUBBLE PAPERWEIGHT!

This is HUGE for a paperweight! 4.0" dia. x 3.25" high. My research has led me to this being a 'Chapter AQ of the P.E.O. Sisterhood' paperweight. They use, as an emblem, a yellow 5-pointed star, (see last pic) which this has an attempt at the same. lol The inside layer where all that is, is crackled glass, while the rest of the glass is clear and has controlled bubbles as well as the lower under white floral-like structure with a rough pontil on the bottom. It was probably created for an early event/milestone in the organization's history-whether it was only 1 made, or more, remains a mystery, as I can't find another one anywhere online. P.E.O. was founded on January 21, 1869, by seven students at Iowa Wesleyan University in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. This circle of kindred spirits – bonded by their enthusiasm for women's opportunities – eventually expanded to include women off campus as well. The P.E.O. Sisterhood is an international women's philanthropic educational organization consisting of nearly 5,500 chapters across North America, including active Chapter AQ groups in multiple states.
