Up for sale is a uniquely historic copy of Dallas Cowboys: The First Twenty-Five Years by Carlton Stowers (published by Taylor Publishing Company). This particular volume is an incredible piece of NFL history, featuring an original, authentic presentation letter hand-signed by legendary Dallas Cowboys executive and Pro Football Hall of Famer, Gil Brandt. The letter is typed on vintage, custom Gil Brandt Dallas Cowboys stationery featuring the iconic star helmet logo. Addressed to a "Jack," the letter reads: "Because you have been a very 'special friend' through the years, I would like to present you with this book on the Dallas Cowboys - 'The First Twenty-Five Years'." It is personally hand-signed "Gil" in ink above his printed name. The letter remains taped to the inside cover page exactly as it was originally presented, providing excellent provenance and making this a true collector's piece. Condition Notes: Letter: Clear text, bold signature, with typical light aging and minor creasing/folds as shown in the photos. Taped to the page securely. Letter has tear across the bottom left.
