This eye-catching piece is a Lucite Op Art Owl sculpture by the renowned Brazilian artist Abraham Palatnik. Part of his iconic Artemis Collection from the 1970s, these figurines are famous for their flat silhouettes and intricate internal silkscreened patterns Description Highlights: * Provenance: Original "Made in Brazil" paper label is intact. * Condition: the Lucite is clear and the internal silkscreened patterns are crisp. very minor micro scratches on the base bottom. * Artist History: Mention Palatnik was a pioneer of Kinetic and Op Art. One Quick Cleaning Warning: Do NOT use Windex or any ammonia-based cleaners on this. Ammonia can cause Lucite to "craze" (develop thousands of tiny internal cracks) over time.
