Love the flow blue...No two are the same. This is the traditional cobalt blue w/ gold gilt. The edge or the border is curvy it has raised dot porcelain w/ gold gilt-this does have slight paint wear. The artist also embellished the pat with additional gold gilt design. The bottom is stamped, There is something embossed on the bottom-it's not decipherable. The artist placed his or her initials in gold gilt, as well. This is very much an antique-more than 100 year old-it would have been produced in the early 1900s. That is so amazing to me. It has a glaze skip on the back of the pat. It measures approx 3 1/4" in diameter, 1 Oz. I would encourage you comp this against other sold butter pats....your eyes will pop out of your head.
