Harris, an English artist, sought to create unique and colorful glassware inspired by the Mediterranean landscape. Mdina Glass quickly became known for its vibrant colors and distinctive designs, often incorporating swirling patterns and organic shapes. These pieces reflect the studio's signature style, blending rich blues and yellows in a fluid, eye-catching manner. The controlled bubble stoppers and rounded forms are typical of Mdina's mid-century production, making them highly collectible examples of Maltese art glass. Mdina Glass pieces are popular among collectors for their artistic merit and connection to the Maltese cultural heritage.
