The name Beetle's Rucksack is a shout out to the old cartoon Beetle Bailey. A favorite of mine and unfortunately gives you a great idea of my age. I believe in leaving the item in the condition I have found them since 'The stories are in the schmutz' and patina. I hope I have an item that brings back fond memories for you or a loved one. Please remember that glass should be left in the box to acclimate to your climate before the box is opened. Extreme temp changes can cause items to break. Santa Painting a Teddy Bear Spinning Music Box by Otagiri Gibson Greetings
Original Gibson Greetings stamp and Otagiri Sticker are on the bottom. The Music Box is functional but does not play all the way through and sometimes plays on its own. The item should not be bought expecting a fully functioning music box. The item itself is in great condition and is intended to spin when the music is wound up. My pictures were taken as it spins. It does have a music on/off switch on the bottom. I do not feel or see flea bites or chips. Santa is painting a teddy bear and wearing an apron. I encourage you to look at all of the photos for condition. It is painted so cute. I loved this little guy and could not leave him behind. I hope you enjoy him as well.
