Nippon Hand-Painted Porcelain Sugar Bowl Scenic Landscape Gold Gilding Antique Antique Nippon porcelain sugar bowl with a lid, hand-painted porcelain with a scenic landscape design and gold gilding, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. Made in Japan for the Western market between 1891 and 1921. Features a pastel landscape scene with trees and a lake, accented with gold leafing on the handles and rim. Hand-painted scenic motif (often titled "Tree in the Meadow" or similar landscape patterns) with intricate gold gilt work. Double-handled design with a matching lid. Marked with a "Nippon" backstamp. Measures approx. 3.5 inches tall and 6 inches in wide Good pre-owned antique condition. Some wear, no chips or cracks. Please see pictures for more details.
