MidCentury Japanese Ceramic Covered Wagon Planter

A charming 1950s Westernthemed novelty planter featuring a pioneer covered wagon pulled by a draft animal. Finished in a rich brown gloss glaze with a contrasting white mattefinish wagon cover. The base is detailed with small handpainted pink flowers and green foliage. Features an embossed "JAPAN" mark on the underside. Condition: Good condition; a classic piece of midcentury Japanese export pottery.
