Leather Cup / Bottle Holder
The Leather cup / bottle holder was made in the Mosinee WI. USA by Leathersmith Mark Tilkins (Wizzard) See story below. These are designed to slip over your handlebars of a motorcycle, trike, bike, bicycle, or whatever other way you can dream up.... Made of thick Natural Tan color leather, multiple heavy duty rivets securing the leather pieces togeather and 2 heavy duty snaps secure the strap over the handlebars, for years of use. They will hold a water bottle or a typical slender 16 - 20 oz Travel cup. (The wide cups will not fit. The white cup in this picture is about 3 1/8" at it's widest point) x 7 1/4" tall Please see pictures for other details. These are apporximate. These are not mass produced and may vary slightly in the exact measurements. These are leather, so there may be small imperfections on the leather. Using cleaner or polish generally will cover any imperfections. The Story: For years after serving in the US Military, Mark (Wizzard) was a Leathersmith. He disigned his own products, Hip Purses / Bags, Wallets, Cup / Bottle Holders, Messenger Bags, Computer bags, etc. Mark and his wife traveled to multiple rallies around the midwest with his wife. (She had a motorcycle accessories business) I met them on one of our trips to Sturgis SD, in the parking lot of the Steel Wheel. They had set up with all of the leather goods. Mark would be busy making items or repairing customers leather jackets, chaps, sewing whatever they needed. My husband and I would stop in and see them a few times during our trips to SD every year. They decided to close the store a number of years ago so they could both travel more, explore, and see more back roads of this beautiful country. Less than a month after closing the store, tragety struck. Mark suddenly passed away. The next year we didn't see them in their usual space at the Steel Wheel. After talking to another vendor, (that was also there every year) I learned of the news. I asked if he could relay a message to his wife and asked that he give her my phone number. A few months later, I received a call from the incredible woman I now call my best friend. We talked for several years, multiple times per week (sometimes until late into the night) In order to not write a novel for you all..... I ended up purchasing all of the remaing inventory that Mark had made as well as the remaining inventory from their store. (My husband and I were going to open our own store.) Not only did I buy out all of their inventory, but I found distributors for a lot of other great products. When our dream fell apart, due to circumstances beyond our control, I was left with an abundance of inventory that now fills a good portion of our home. We have decided that a retail space is no longer our dream... The next logical step, try everything I can to get the space in my home back, share the great products that I have found with others at a reasonable price. All of my inventory is priced at or below 2020 prices. At this point, I am trying to get my money back plus, a little, so we can invest in putting a small home on our property for my Mom. If you read all the way through this, I THANK YOU !!! If you wouldn't mind, please follow, and share this with all of your friends. I have more to offer than just motorcycle stuff. Check back often as I do have a LOT of stuff to get photographed and listed. If there is something specific you are looking for.... Message me through any of my listings and we can chat!
