Lane & Co Ceramic Chip And Dip Plate, Vintage California Pottery, 12" (0053-26)
Mid-century Lane & Co California chip and dip plate, 12 inches wide in warm beige ceramic with atomic-era glaze accents. A classic 1950s–60s entertaining piece with authentic age and character. This Lane & Co serving plate was made in Van Nuys, California during the height of mid-century entertaining culture. Designed with a central dip well and four surrounding compartments, it reflects the casual yet stylish hosting trends of the 1950s–1960s. The glaze features soft beige tones with brown shading and abstract splashes of green and burnt orange, giving it that unmistakable California studio pottery look. It pairs beautifully with teak, barware, and retro cocktail settings. Condition reflects age honestly. There is visible crazing throughout, consistent with vintage ceramic glaze. One stable hairline crack is present along the rim. No major chips or repairs observed. Structurally sound and display-ready. A wonderful piece for collectors of Lane & Co pottery or for those who love authentic mid-century entertaining ware.
