Widowed mom with one daughter and five cats. Plus a grandma to six fur babies. I also foster kittens for our local SPCA but in my spare time I love collecting anything vintage but especially glass and pottery. Thifting is my passion. For me it's like playing a game of hide and seek. The treasures are hiding and I seek them out. There is no greater thrill than finding the one special "thing" that was hiding in plain sight.

Jeannette Glass Marigold Carnival Glass Poodle Powder Jar 6” X 3 3/4” Heavy Item
Originally used to store loose powder these jars were popular during the 1930-1950’s. Now they’re used for trinkets on your vanity. This was a part of a collection that included a deer, Scottie dog, elephant and donkey topped jars. Because of its age there is some color loss to the marigold color. But it still retains a nice iridescent sheen.
