Japanese Lusterware Teapot Handpainted Chrysanthemum or Peonies (as is) Vintage Japanese Lusterware porcelain teapot characterized by its iridescent, metallic-like glaze.. Hand-painted featuring a hand-painted floral pink and orange chrysanthemum or peonies with peach, green and blue accents on a white background. "Hand Painted" and "Made in Japan" backstamp. Likely produced by Seiei & Co. or a similar manufacturer. This specific mark is characteristic of porcelain and ceramics made in Japan during the early to mid-20th century, with many pieces dating from the 1930s and 1940s. Measures approx. 7” tall x 10” wide Good pre-owned condition. Spout is chipped at the tip. A few pits and age spots. Please see pictures for more details. Thank you for supporting my small business.
