Hand made Teapot Doll Only One Like Her I will sign
This is my teapot doll. I used to have a business called Robin's Nest Creations. I made this doll more than 25 years ago. She is made from cotton fabric, hand silk embroidered, and hand sewn together after machine seaming. Her hair is made from velvet chenille yarn and her face is hand drawn and colored with soft colored pencils and sprayed with a fixative. She has a crochet doily hat with applied silk flowers. She used to have Feathers in the hat as well, but they disintegrated over time and will need to be replaced. She has a hand made shoulder bag made from a real Lipton Teabag, and has Modge Podge used to seal it . Her earings have lost their shine but she does still have some hoops with crystal dangle drops on them. (need replacing also) She also used to have a silverplated necklace and bracelet but I swapped them out to plastic chrome beads becuause I was not able to polish the silver which had tarnished. She is about the size of a 2 cup teapot. Her head does not come off. She is stuffed with polyfill and weighted with Copper BB's She will be for sale. She is a one of a kind, as I adapted a pattern I had and changed it up completely by making her pot round instead of flat sided, and by adding a rim and collar and my own expressions on her face.
