FENTON ROSE MING 3-TOED PINK DEPRESSION GLASS DISH BOWL
The Fenton Art Glass Company produced this stunning 3-toed bowl for only a short time between 1935 and 1936. Florence's Glassware Pattern Identification Guide, Volume III, shows the Rose Ming satin glass pattern on Page 202. This is a soft pink clear glass with an acid etching on the outside. The bowl is about 6-3/4" in diameter and 3" deep. It has 3 applied feet and a scalloped top edge. The inside of the bowl is smooth. Wonderful detailing is felt on the outside of the bowl -- there are 16 rounded panels about 7/8" wide and tapering down to 1/4" at the base of the bowl and each panel has 2 oval indentations. The little legs are panelled and scalloped where they are applied to the bottom of the bowl -- gorgeous glassmaking! There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or scratches. The pink color adds a subtle, feminine touch to any room. Beautiful Bowl! (2068104265)
