Widowed mom with one daughter and five cats. Plus a grandma to six fur babies. I also foster kittens for our local SPCA but in my spare time I love collecting anything vintage but especially glass and pottery. Thifting is my passion. For me it's like playing a game of hide and seek. The treasures are hiding and I seek them out. There is no greater thrill than finding the one special "thing" that was hiding in plain sight.

Fenton HTF Plum Opalescent Iridized Hobnail Rose Bowl 4 1/4” X 4”
Stunning iridescent sheen on this hard to fine popular plum color. The crippled top fades to a pale lavender color. This color ware was only produced from 1959-63. This color was actually a mistake that was created when trying to make cranberry glass. Only about 19 different items were ever produced in this color run. The heat sensitivity of the glass made it difficult to produce in large consistent quantities.
