Dunbar Glass 1940’s Vintage Glass Tumble Up Smokey Green Bedside Water Carafe

This is a intage 1940s Dunbar Glass Company Tumble-Up Bedside Water Carafe Set. This two-piece set features Dunbar's pale smoky sage green glass and a wavy ring neck. Unlike traditional vintage tumble-up sets where the glass cup slips over the outside of the neck, this Dunbar design features a flared base tumbler that nests cleanly inside the mouth of the carafe. This mid-century design allowed leftover water to drip cleanly back down into the decanter while keeping dust out. The carafe also features a subtle pinched pouring spout.

In good condition. Does not have any chips or cracks.

Measures 8 inches tall with the cup and 4 1/2 inches wide at the bulbous part of the carafe. The cup itself measures 3 1/4 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter at the base.
