Blue and White lap blanket throw afghan handmade from estate 68 x 64

Really nice afghan from an estate - may or may not be vintage - retired lady spent her days making these. I can't use this, and don't have space for it so passing it on. It's a good size - if I measured correctly - I have dogs and it's hard to lay something out where it won't get hair on it. So I hung it on the line to try to get a decent representation. I don't see any issues with it, but didn't go over it inch by inch. Its not super soft, just regular yarn. Still a nice big one! I'm sure this pattern/style has a name but I don't know what it is and I'm not sure if this is knit or crocheted - I don't know my yard crafts too well, I only know what is cute when I see it! Came from an estate of a little old lady who spent her retirement crocheting/knitting, she had a ton and I picked a few up, I've changed my color scheme so I'm passing them on. Not sure of the yarn content - not a super soft yarn just regular yarn. measurements are approximate: 68 x 64 - I don't have a large enough place to lay this out to get a more accurate measurement that won't get it covered in dog hair - could be a bit larger or a bit smaller - so purchase with this in mind. I didn't see any imperfections but I didn't go over it inch by inch either This did come from a home with dogs, and I do rescue so I have dogs as well. It wasn't used in a room that the dogs were regularly in, but I can't say that about where it came from. I'll do my best to go over it and make sure it is hair free, but there are no guarantees given the yarn, so please buy with that in mind. If you are allergic, you may want to have it professionally cleaned. I think this is a cute handmade piece!
