Antique Schoenhut Doll Wood Spring Jointed Sleep Eyes Creepy 16” Doll Original 1917 USA HTF Possibly Haunted 🙃

Approx 16” tall. Back bears sticker plate that reads Schoenhut Doll Pat January 17th, 1911 USA.

Let’s talk condition. Ok soooo for a 115-year-old doll, I’d say it’s in pretty good condition. The hair has…issues? Clearly. And the tip of the nose has damage to its surface. Beyond that, we’re talking clothing that is quite worn (I do have a set of what appears to be…underclothes? Not sure, but they’re in decent shape. They’re coming w the doll.) The doll is also pretty dirty, and I believe that a serious (but careful!) cleaning would bring it back significantly.

—>> how does one fix these issues? You don’t! They’re part of the doll’s charm. It’s a factor in its je ne sais quoi — although, the eyes and THE TEETH GOOD LORD THE TEETHHHHH WHYYYYY most definitely play a huge role.

Schoenhut dolls go for a pretty pretty penny, folks. Check them out on eBay. Yowza. So, naturally I’m charging a fraction of that 🤣
