Antique Nippon Celery/Candy Dish Hand Painted Porcelain Intricate Gold Moriage Detailing READ 10”L x 2-1/2” T x 4” W

This is an antique hand-painted Nippon porcelain celery or candy dish possibly made by Morimura Bros. The dish features intricate gold "moriage" detailing, which refers to the raised enamel beading and decoration. The style is characteristic of the "Nippon era" (1890-1921), when ceramics were produced in Japan for export to the US market, often imitating European styles. Condition: Wear on gold paint around the edge and handles. One small raised bump inside on the bottom. No other condition issues noted.
