✨ Antique National Glass Company “Teardrop & Tassel” Compote 6” Tall
EAPG Pedestal Dessert Bowl • Circa 1899 Beautiful Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) pedestal compote in the classic Teardrop & Tassel pattern by National Glass Company, introduced around 1899. This smaller version features intricate molded swags, tassels, raised teardrop medallions, and delicate beading along both the rim and foot. The detailing is crisp and catches the light beautifully — a true late 19th-century statement piece. ✨ Details • Maker: National Glass Company • Pattern: Teardrop & Tassel • Era: Circa 1899 • Material: Clear pressed glass • Approx. 6” tall • Approx. 6” diameter across top (see ruler photos) • Pedestal base with beaded edge ✨ Condition Lovely antique condition for being over 120 years old. No cracks noted. Light surface wear consistent with age and early pressed glass production. Displays beautifully. ✨ Styling Idea This smaller compote pairs beautifully with the larger Teardrop & Tassel compote. Style them together at varying heights for a stunning Victorian-inspired centerpiece — think fruit in the larger bowl and wrapped candies or florals in the smaller one. The layered look adds instant elegance to a table, buffet, or seasonal display. Perfect for: • Individual desserts • Candy or nuts • Vanity styling • Holiday tablescapes • Completing or building a Teardrop & Tassel collection
