Antique Nailsea Glass Flask Bottle 3”x 1”x 5.5”
No chips or cracks. In the 7th and 8th photos I tried to show the decorative beveling. This item is a 19th-century Nailsea glass flask bottle, likely produced in the United Kingdom around 1830–1860. Design: It features a distinctive red and white (or light blue) swirled trailing pattern known as "Nailsea" style glass, named after the Nailsea Glassworks in Somerset, England. Features: The flask includes a rounded body, a narrow neck, and typically has a rough pontil mark on the bottom from where it was broken off the glassblower's rod. Stopper: The bottle is fitted with a cork stopper topped with a decorative metal or brass cap. Collector's Item: These flasks are highly sought after by collectors of antique art glass due to their unique, hand-blown production and vibrant color patterns.
