The interior is framed by a thick, hand-painted gold-gilt rim. This piece was imported as a "blank" from Germany and hand-decorated in the United States, featuring a clear artist signature ("E. Arnold") on the reverse. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. The iridescence remains bright and highly reflective. There is only very minor, age-appropriate gilt loss on the rim.
