Antique Heisey Glass Dish Set (3), Narrow Flute, Hand-Painted w/Gold and Flowers
This exquisite antique Heisey glass dish set includes a serving dish and two matching small bowls. The narrow flute pattern is beautifully hand-painted with blue and yellow enamel flowers connected by gold filigree, with each item having gold edging on the rims. The set, manufactured in Ohio @1910-1913, is made of pressed glass and weighs 1 pound and 12.2 ounces. Each item has the Heisey mark (H within a diamond) in the center. This is a wonderful representation of antique pressed glass! The set is in excellent used condition, with no chips or cracks. The oval platter has a small divot on the edge from when the glass was pressed. (It is a part of the dish, not a chip.) The gold rim has minimal wear; the flowers and gold filigree inside the bowl are in excellent condition. On the small bowls, the gold rim has almost no wear on one bowl and minimal wear on the other. The flowers and gold filigree on each of these bowls is painted on the outside and is in excellent condition on both. There are a few minor surface scratches on the bowls. Please review the pictures as part of the description. The Narrow Flute (#393) Pattern was introduced in 1910 and received 5 patents between 1912-1914. The two bowls have a patent marking of 4/15/13 (April 15, 1913). The oval serving dish has no Patent marking, meaning it was made @1910-1911. Dimensions: Oval Serving Dish - 10 inches, 6.25 inches wide, 1.2 inches high Round Dishes - 4.5 inches in diameter, 1.2 inches high
