Antique Consolidated White Satin Glass Artichoke GWTW Lamp Base Pink Painted Floral Design Approximately 7”W x 6”T - Brass P&A Eagle Burner 3” - No Shade / Chimney

Authentic, full-size Victorian "Gone With the Wind" parlor banquet lamp font base.

Produced by the Consolidated Lamp & Glass Company circa 1894, this heavy piece features the iconic molded "Artichoke" pattern with beautifully sharp, high-relief leaf segments.

The lamp font is crafted from solid opaque white milk glass with a soft, acid-etched satin finish. The top shoulder features a gorgeous, factory-applied fired pink blush tint with original hand-painted Victorian olive foliage and deep burgundy accents. It comes complete with a period-correct brass collar and a matching wind-up burner stamped "EAGLE" by the Plume & Atwood Manufacturing Company.

Guaranteed Authentic (Not a Repop): This lamp base has been physically vetted and includes definitive signs of genuine 19th-century American glass production:

• "Orange Peel" Base Texture: The center of the bottom showcases a tight, circular ripple texture from the antique press-and-blow iron mold process.

• Opalescent Rim Fire: The bottom foot rim displays a faint, elegant mother-of-pearl iridescent shimmer when tilted toward the light—a hallmark of authentic, heat-sensitive Victorian glass formulas.

• Seamless Construction: Fire-polished base rim with zero modern, sharp hydraulic mold seams.

Condition: Excellent antique condition. Structurally perfect with absolutely no cracks, chips, fleabites, or fractures along the complex molded ridges. Hand-painted details remain crisp and clear.

The original brass P&A Eagle burner mechanism has developed an unpolished deep antique patina with light surface oxidation. Wick adjuster wheel spins smoothly.

Width: 7 inches Glass Height: 6 inches (9 inches total height to the top of the burner)

Includes the complete glass and brass base font assembly only. Top glass globe shade and chimney are not included.

There was kerosene in the lamp when I purchased it from an auction. It has been removed but an odor still remains.
