Antique porcelain oyster plate by Carl Tielsch, circa 1900, featuring five large oyster wells, a central condiment well, and two smaller shell-form wells. Beautifully decorated in soft peach, white, blue, and green with raised floral and scroll details and gilt accents. The underside bears the blue crown over “C.T.” mark associated with Carl Tielsch of Silesia, Germany. Comparable C.T.-marked oyster plates from this period are documented as Carl Tielsch pieces.
