Widowed mom with one daughter and five cats. Plus a grandma to six fur babies. I also foster kittens for our local SPCA but in my spare time I love collecting anything vintage but especially glass and pottery. Thifting is my passion. For me it's like playing a game of hide and seek. The treasures are hiding and I seek them out. There is no greater thrill than finding the one special "thing" that was hiding in plain sight.

Anita Springs Pottery Dragonfly Vase By John Preble 7.5”x 5”
Louisiana artist, John Preble created art pottery in the mid 1970’s in Abita Springs, Louisiana. This vase appears to be in an Art Nouveau or Arts and Craft style. It resembles pieces produced by Artus Van Briggle. The vase features a relief-craved or molded dragonfly wrapping around the neck. There is also a flower frog at the bottom of the vase to hold your bouquet in place. Not signed by the artist this is a gorgeous piece of pottery to add to your collection.
